Responsibility
- Engage youth in holistic and meaningful activities that promote personal growth and development.
- Plan, organize, and implement youth programs and events in collaboration with the care team.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to youth, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Assess the needs of youth and develop individualized support plans.
- Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to enhance program offerings.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of youth programs, making adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of youth participation and progress.
- Promote a safe and nurturing environment for all youth involved in the programs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Development, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with youth in a community or social service setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with youth.
- Passion for youth development and a commitment to making a positive impact.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of youth development principles and best practices.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
