Responsibility
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and surgeries.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all equipment is in working order.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
- Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans in digital systems.
- Schedule appointments, handle patient inquiries, and coordinate follow-up care.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and place orders as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
- Provide chairside support, including handing instruments, operating suction devices, and ensuring patient comfort.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Nurse, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting, Dental Nursing, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using dental software for patient records and scheduling.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a plus.
