Responsibility
- Conduct detailed failure analysis on semiconductor products to identify yield detractors and root causes.
- Utilize advanced metrology and inspection tools to collect and analyze process data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement yield enhancement strategies.
- Generate comprehensive reports on yield trends, process deviations, and corrective actions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce defects.
- Maintain accurate documentation of analysis findings, experimental results, and process adjustments.
- Support the development and validation of new process technologies to improve product performance and reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians and operators as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, yield analysis, or failure analysis.
- Proficiency in using analytical tools such as SEM, FIB, or optical microscopy.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and yield management principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis software (e.g., JMP, Excel).
- Effective communication skills to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
