Join GAC Motor by WTCA as a Parts Localization Manager and drive the strategic development of automotive components tailored for the Southeast Asian market. Based in the vibrant regions of Bali, Indonesia, you will lead the localization of parts, ensuring seamless integration with global supply chains while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end localization process for automotive parts, from supplier identification to mass production.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs while maintaining high-quality standards for localized components.
- Collaborate with global and local suppliers to ensure compliance with technical specifications and industry regulations.
- Conduct regular quality audits and performance evaluations of suppliers to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with R&D and engineering teams to adapt parts designs for local manufacturing and market requirements.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for parts localization and cost optimization.
- Prepare and present reports on localization progress, cost savings, and supplier performance to senior management.
- Ensure timely delivery of localized parts to support production schedules and business growth objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in parts localization, supplier management, or automotive parts development.
- Proven track record in negotiating with suppliers and managing cost-effective sourcing strategies.
- Strong knowledge of automotive industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and quality control processes.
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Analytical mindset with expertise in data-driven decision-making and supplier performance metrics.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
