As a BIM specialist, you will collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to develop precise Building Information Models that enhance project efficiency, accuracy, and sustainability. Your expertise will drive innovation in digital construction, ensuring seamless coordination across disciplines.
Whether you're based in Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung, this role offers the flexibility to work in a hybrid or fully remote setting, with occasional on-site meetings as required.
Responsibility
- Interpret and analyze architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to create and update accurate BIM models using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, ArchiCAD).
- Develop and maintain BIM Object Families and libraries to ensure consistency and reusability across projects.
- Generate comprehensive BIM documentation, including drawings, schedules, and reports, with properly formatted title blocks for client submissions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve clash detection issues, ensuring conflict-free models before construction.
- Implement BIM execution plans (BEP) and adhere to project-specific standards and protocols.
- Provide technical support and training to junior team members on BIM workflows and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in modeling processes.
- Assist in 4D (scheduling) and 5D (cost estimation) BIM applications to enhance project planning and budgeting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360. Knowledge of other BIM tools (e.g., Tekla, Bentley) is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of construction documentation, standards (e.g., AIA, ISO 19650), and local building codes.
- Excellent spatial visualization and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal). Knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, BIM Level 2) are highly desirable.
