The Civil Aviation Authority Philippines is seeking a highly skilled Senior CNS Systems Officer (Grade V) to join our dynamic team in Bali, Indonesia. As a Senior CNS Systems Officer, you will oversee the technical infrastructure that supports air traffic management, ensuring compliance with international aviation standards (ICAO, FAA). Your expertise will drive the reliability of radar, radio communication, and satellite-based systems that keep our skies safe.

Responsibility
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CNS (Communication, Navigation, Surveillance) systems including radar, VHF/UHF radios, and ADS-B.
- Ensure compliance with ICAO Annex 10 and other international aviation regulations for CNS/ATM systems.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues in CNS infrastructure to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with air traffic control teams to optimize system performance and coverage.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and system upgrade plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and contingency planning for CNS system failures.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and engineers on CNS system operations.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for regulatory audits and internal reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Aviation Technology (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in CNS/ATM systems, preferably in a civil aviation authority or airport environment.
- Certification in ICAO CNS/ATM systems or equivalent (e.g., FAA, EASA) is a plus.
- Proven expertise in radar systems, radio communication (VHF/UHF), and satellite-based navigation (GNSS).
- Strong knowledge of aviation safety standards and regulatory frameworks (ICAO SARPs).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in critical situations.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian or Filipino is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia and travel as required.
