As a Workshop Operator, you will play a critical role in the maintenance, inspection, and repair of specialized containers and systems, ensuring they meet stringent regulatory standards and customer requirements. Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on T75 ISO tanks and associated industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Conduct thorough inspections of tanks and systems, identifying and documenting any defects, wear, or non-compliance with safety standards.
- Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local and international regulations, including OSHA, ISO, and customer-specific requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of all maintenance, inspections, and repairs performed, using digital or paper-based systems.
- Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to troubleshoot complex issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Operate workshop machinery and tools safely, including welding equipment, pressure testers, and diagnostic tools.
- Uphold a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment, following 5S principles and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar workshop or industrial maintenance role, preferably in the gas, chemical, or manufacturing sectors.
- Technical certification or diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field is highly advantageous.
- Proven expertise in maintaining and repairing pressurized containers, tanks, or similar equipment.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols for handling industrial gases, hazardous materials, and high-pressure systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment relevant to the role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
