Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers to assess and improve the quality of raw materials and components.
- Perform root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and procurement, to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, customer specifications, and company quality policies.
- Participate in internal and external audits to verify compliance with quality management systems.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance, supplier quality, or a similar role within manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, inspection techniques, and ISO standards.
- Proficiency in using quality management tools and software (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 8D).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) is a plus.
