Responsibility
- Oversee daily production and assembly activities to ensure adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and collaboration.
- Monitor production metrics (e.g., output, downtime, defects) and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and minimize errors.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Identify bottlenecks in production processes and propose innovative solutions to enhance productivity.
- Prepare and present reports on production performance, challenges, and improvements to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production leadership, preferably in manufacturing, assembly, or logistics environments.
- Proven track record of managing teams, improving operational efficiency, and meeting production targets.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in production management software (e.g., ERP, MES) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and lead by example in a fast-paced setting.
