Are you a dedicated Workplace Safety & Health Officer looking to advance your career within a dynamic manufacturing environment? The Supreme HR Advisory is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented WSHO to join our client's operations in Gul Circle. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining a gold-standard safety culture, ensuring total compliance with Singapore's MOM regulations, and mitigating operational risks.
As the primary point of contact for safety initiatives, you will lead safety audits, conduct risk assessments, and drive training programs to ensure every member of the team returns home safely. The ideal candidate is a registered WSHO who thrives in a fast-paced industrial setting and possesses the technical expertise to translate complex safety regulations into actionable workplace improvements.
Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) management systems.
- Conduct regular site inspections and internal safety audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
- Lead accident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent the recurrence of incidents.
- Ensure full compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) and other relevant MOM regulations.
- Coordinate with department heads to conduct risk assessments (HIRARC) for all manufacturing processes.
- Maintain all required WSH documentation, permits, and safety records for regulatory inspections.
- Organize and facilitate safety training programs and tool-box meetings for staff and contractors.
Qualifications
- Must be a MOM-registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of Singapore’s WSH Act, regulations, and industry standards (ISO 45001/ISO 14001 knowledge is a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to perform independent risk assessments and safety audits.
- Possess a valid certification in relevant safety courses (e.g., Risk Management, Incident Investigation).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a proactive safety-first culture.
