Responsibility
- Coordinate and oversee the import process from origin to destination, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws, regulations, and customs requirements.
- Prepare and manage import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs officials to resolve any issues and facilitate smooth transactions.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure they meet delivery schedules and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of import activities, including costs, timelines, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics processes and reduce operational costs.
- Stay updated on changes in international trade regulations and implement necessary adjustments to company procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in importation, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of international trade laws, customs regulations, and import procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
