Responsibility
- Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the engine room and machinery spaces.
- Support the engineering team in routine inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all equipment and tools are properly stored and maintained.
- Assist in the operation and monitoring of machinery and systems.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any issues or malfunctions to the engineering team promptly.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and cleaning activities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role on a vessel is preferred.
- Basic understanding of maritime operations and engine room maintenance.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions accurately.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
