Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage all shipping activities, including domestic and international shipments.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and prepare necessary documentation for smooth clearance.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to optimize shipping routes and costs.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping documents, invoices, and delivery confirmations.
- Collaborate with the warehouse and production teams to align shipping schedules with inventory levels.
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
- Provide regular reports on shipping activities, performance metrics, and any challenges faced.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and shipping documentation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
- Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the coffee industry or FMCG sector is a plus.
