Responsibility
- Design and execute high-end Western banquet menus tailored to client preferences and dietary requirements.
- Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure flawless execution of large-scale events, from preparation to presentation.
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to align culinary offerings with event themes and guest expectations.
- Maintain impeccable food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with St. Regis and local regulations.
- Source and manage premium ingredients, ensuring quality and sustainability in all dishes.
- Innovate with seasonal and locally inspired Western cuisine while upholding St. Regis’ signature elegance.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory control, cost management, and staff training.
- Provide exceptional guest interactions during events, showcasing your passion for culinary arts.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Banquet Chef or in a similar leadership role within luxury hotels or fine dining.
- Expertise in Western cuisine, with a portfolio of creative, high-end banquet menus.
- Proven ability to manage large teams and coordinate multi-course service for 100+ guests.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and sanitation protocols.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and mentor kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Familiarity with Bali’s luxury hospitality scene is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
