Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily welding operations to meet production targets.
- Conduct quality inspections of welded products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot welding issues and implement corrective actions to maintain productivity.
- Manage inventory of welding consumables and equipment to prevent shortages.
- Train and mentor welding team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize welding processes.
- Maintain accurate records of production outputs, quality checks, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, CSWIP) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a team effectively.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards in manufacturing.
- Problem-solving skills to address welding defects and process inefficiencies.
