Responsibility
- Develop and implement welding procedures and techniques to ensure high-quality and efficient production.
- Conduct inspections and tests on welded components to verify compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize welding processes and improve product quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues, providing technical support and guidance to the production team.
- Maintain accurate records of welding procedures, inspections, and test results.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in welding operations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in welding technology and industry trends.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on welding techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Welding Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and quality control standards.
- Familiarity with welding equipment and tools, as well as safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot welding-related issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Certification in welding (e.g., CWI, CWE) is a plus.
