This position focuses on Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, wiring installations, and general repairs to ensure seamless functionality and safety across our facilities.
As part of our dynamic team, you will work in a fast-paced environment, troubleshooting electrical issues, performing routine maintenance, and implementing upgrades to enhance system efficiency. Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
- Perform routine inspections of M&E systems to identify potential issues and proactively address maintenance needs.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineers and maintenance teams to plan and execute upgrades or modifications to electrical systems.
- Ensure all work adheres to building codes, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in detailed reports for record-keeping.
- Assist in emergency repair situations, providing rapid and reliable responses to critical electrical failures.
- Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts to support efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Wireman, Electrician, or in a similar role, with a strong background in building maintenance and M&E systems.
- Certification or vocational training in electrical engineering, wiring, or a related field (e.g., Sertifikat Keahlian Listrik or equivalent).
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, and best practices for residential or commercial properties.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters, circuit testers).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in confined spaces, at heights, or in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and stakeholders.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call duties for emergency repairs.
