Responsibility
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on heavy machinery and construction equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment downtime and extend lifespan.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, performing repairs or coordinating with vendors as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance history, and repair costs for reporting and budgeting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting training sessions for equipment operators.
- Collaborate with project managers to assess equipment needs and recommend procurement or upgrades.
- Monitor fuel consumption, lubrication, and other operational metrics to optimize performance and reduce costs.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies in construction equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in equipment maintenance, preferably in the construction or heavy machinery sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in construction equipment.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software for equipment monitoring and maintenance planning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., OSHA) is a plus.
- Proficiency in English; additional knowledge of Indonesian or local dialects is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali as required.
