Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a maintenance team in the inspection, testing, and servicing of HV, LV, and DC traction power equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to power distribution, transformers, switchgear, and other critical rail infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and recommend improvements.
- Ensure adherence to local and international safety regulations, including OSHA and industry-specific standards, during all maintenance activities.
- Prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities, equipment status, and performance metrics for management review.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in emergency response procedures to restore power and minimize service disruptions during outages or incidents.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in rail power systems, HV/LV electrical systems, or industrial maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of HV/LV electrical systems, DC traction power, transformers, switchgear, and protection relays.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, IEC, or local Indonesian electrical codes).
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive maintenance techniques.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) for reporting and collaboration with international teams.
- Certifications such as CompEx, IRATA, or local electrical safety certifications are a plus.
