Responsibility
- Perform high-quality welding tasks (MIG/TIG/Stick) according to project specifications and safety standards.
- Execute routine and preventive mechanical maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimize downtime.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols accurately.
- Operate power tools and workshop machinery safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all workplace safety (WSH) protocols.
- Assist in the fabrication and installation of metal structures and mechanical components.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure project deadlines are met consistently.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in welding and mechanical maintenance roles.
- Relevant certification in Welding (e.g., AWS, CSWIP, or local equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical mechanical blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to mechanical repair.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team.
- Must be comfortable working in a workshop or industrial field environment.
- Valid workplace safety certifications (e.g., WAH, BCSS) are a plus.
- Willingness to commit to regular weekday overtime as required by project schedules.
