Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of security officers, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and hospital policies.
- Develop, implement, and conduct comprehensive security training programs for all security personnel, including drills and emergency response protocols.
- Research, evaluate, and integrate security robotics and automation technologies to enhance surveillance, patrols, and incident response capabilities.
- Oversee the maintenance and operational readiness of all security systems, including CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and deployed robotics.
- Conduct regular security assessments, identify potential risks, and recommend proactive measures to mitigate threats.
- Manage incident response, investigations, and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to security and emergency preparedness.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, security trends, and technological advancements, particularly in robotics and AI applications for security.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Security Management, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably within a hospital or large institutional setting.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering effective security training programs.
- Demonstrated interest or hands-on experience with security technology, automation, or robotics systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Familiarity with Singaporean security regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to make critical decisions under pressure and manage complex security incidents.
- Proficiency in security management software and systems.
