Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on all hotel air conditioning and refrigeration systems (split-type, centralized, chillers, freezers, refrigerators).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions in HVAC/R equipment, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Execute repairs, replacements, and adjustments of components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, fans, thermostats, and electrical wiring.
- Monitor and ensure the proper operation of all cooling equipment, maintaining optimal temperature settings and energy efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies during all work activities.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls and guest requests related to AC and refrigeration issues.
- Collaborate with other engineering team members and departments to ensure overall facility operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) as an Aircon Technician, HVAC Technician, or Refrigeration Mechanic, preferably in a hotel or commercial setting.
- Technical Vocational Diploma or Certificate in Refrigeration & Air-conditioning, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC/R systems, including refrigeration cycles, electrical schematics, controls, and components.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for identifying and resolving complex equipment failures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and circuit diagrams.
- Physically fit and capable of performing duties that involve lifting, bending, climbing, and working in confined spaces or varying temperatures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and service-oriented approach.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
