Responsibility
- Operate and maintain digital/analog weighing scales to measure raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods with high accuracy.
- Record and document weight data in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure weight consistency and prevent discrepancies.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to facilitate smooth material flow and inventory tracking.
- Perform routine calibration and basic troubleshooting of weighing equipment.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including PPE usage and hazardous material handling procedures.
- Report any irregularities, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Assist in loading/unloading activities while ensuring weight limits and load distribution are within specifications.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or manufacturing is a plus.
- Proven experience (1+ years) in a similar role within manufacturing, logistics, or chemical industries.
- Familiarity with weighing scales, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory management systems.
- Physical stamina to lift/move heavy items (up to 25 kg) and work in standing positions for extended periods.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends or holidays, as per operational requirements.
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or ISO standards is advantageous.
