Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of water sports instructors, lifeguards, and recreation staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and implement engaging water-based activities, including snorkeling, diving, kayaking, and paddleboarding.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct regular equipment inspections to maintain high standards.
- Coordinate with resort management to align recreation programs with guest expectations and seasonal demand.
- Train and mentor staff on customer service, emergency procedures, and activity best practices.
- Manage inventory of water sports gear, including maintenance and procurement of new equipment.
- Handle guest inquiries, bookings, and feedback to ensure a premium experience.
- Organize special events, such as group excursions, private tours, and themed water activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in water sports, marine tourism, or a related leadership role.
- Certifications in lifeguarding, diving (PADI/SSI), or first aid/CPR (highly preferred).
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with international guests.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest safety and satisfaction.
- Familiarity with water sports equipment maintenance and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, in a resort setting.
- Passion for marine conservation and sustainable tourism practices.
