Responsibility
- Operate and monitor Water Injection Dredger (WID) systems to ensure efficient sediment removal.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on dredging equipment to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize dredging processes and improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues with the WID system.
- Maintain accurate logs of dredging activities, equipment performance, and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations during operations.
- Assist in the training of junior operators and support staff on WID operations.
- Coordinate with project managers to meet operational deadlines and project milestones.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a WID Operator or in a similar mechanical/operational role.
- Strong understanding of dredging systems and marine construction processes.
- Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Ability to work in challenging marine environments and adapt to varying conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in marine operations.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Willingness to relocate to Badung, Bali, if necessary.
