Responsibility
- Monitor and control water distribution systems to ensure uninterrupted supply and optimal pressure levels.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on pipelines, pumps, valves, and reservoirs.
- Respond to emergencies such as leaks, breaks, or contamination incidents with prompt and effective solutions.
- Conduct water quality testing and ensure compliance with local and international standards.
- Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and water usage data.
- Collaborate with engineering and field teams to implement system upgrades and expansions.
- Operate and troubleshoot SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems for real-time monitoring.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations in all operational activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in water distribution, plumbing, or a related technical field.
- Certification or vocational training in water treatment, mechanical systems, or civil engineering is a plus.
- Strong technical knowledge of water distribution networks, pumps, and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness to perform fieldwork, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and SCADA software (training provided if needed).
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
