Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to engineering drawings, specifications, and local codes.
- Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions for M&E systems.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical discrepancies and optimize system designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals for M&E components.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality assurance standards (e.g., SNI, ISO, or international equivalents).
- Prepare progress reports, defect logs, and as-built documentation for client and internal stakeholder reviews.
- Troubleshoot M&E system failures and coordinate with maintenance teams to implement long-term solutions.
- Mentor and train site engineers and technicians on M&E best practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., P.Eng, CEng) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E supervision for construction projects, preferably in commercial, residential, or hospitality sectors.
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings (AutoCAD, Revit), BIM models, and technical specifications.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian construction regulations (PUPR, PLN, PDAM standards) and international codes (NFPA, IEC, ASHRAE).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with project management tools (Primavera, MS Project) and M&E testing/commissioning processes.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and adapt to on-site challenges.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
