Responsibility
- Lead the development and implementation of BIM strategies for data centre and consultancy projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
- Oversee the creation and management of 3D models, clash detection, and coordination across multi-disciplinary teams (architectural, structural, MEP).
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to integrate BIM workflows into project lifecycles, from design to construction and facility management.
- Develop and enforce BIM execution plans (BEP), standards, and protocols to maintain consistency and quality across all deliverables.
- Train and mentor team members on BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and emerging technologies like AI-driven modeling and digital twins.
- Conduct clash detection and resolution to mitigate risks and optimize project timelines and budgets.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, including sustainability in BIM and modular construction, to drive innovation in project delivery.
- Prepare and present BIM progress reports, visualizations, and analytics to stakeholders for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a BIM Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio in consultancy and data centre projects.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360) and familiarity with IFC, COBie, and other open BIM standards.
- Proven experience in clash detection, 4D/5D BIM, and collaborative digital workflows.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and client relationships.
- Certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) or BIM Level 2/3 are highly desirable.
- Experience working in international markets or with multinational teams is a significant advantage.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for sustainable, tech-driven construction.
