Responsibility
- Operate and maintain wastewater treatment and recovery systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with environmental regulations.
- Monitor and adjust treatment processes, including chemical dosing, filtration, and biological treatment, to achieve desired water quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment and infrastructure.
- Collect and analyze water samples to assess treatment efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international wastewater treatment standards and regulations.
- Document operational data, prepare reports, and communicate findings to management and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with engineering, environmental, and operational teams to implement process improvements and upgrades.
- Respond to emergencies and system failures promptly to minimize environmental impact and operational downtime.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorās degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in wastewater treatment operations, preferably in a hospitality, industrial, or municipal setting.
- Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, including physical, chemical, and biological treatment methods.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and standards, such as Indonesian Government Regulation No. 82/2001 on Water Quality Management.
- Proficiency in using monitoring equipment, control systems, and laboratory tools for water quality analysis.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and operational manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
