Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose equipment failures, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Develop and execute maintenance schedules and checklists to proactively address wear and tear, extending equipment lifespan.
- Coordinate with suppliers in China and local vendors to procure spare parts, tools, and materials while negotiating cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to enhance operational workflows.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory logs, and equipment performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations, conducting regular inspections to mitigate risks.
- Train and supervise junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Diploma holders with extensive experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in manufacturing, food processing, or seafood production.
- Proven expertise in repairing and maintaining production machinery, including conveyors, pumps, motors, and PLC-controlled systems.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience in vendor management and procurement, particularly with international suppliers (China preferred).
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is a plus for supplier coordination.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and inventory tracking tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
