Responsibility
- Design, install, and commission HVAC systems for hyperscale data centers, ensuring compliance with international standards (ASHRAE, ISO, etc.).
- Optimize cooling efficiency to reduce energy consumption and operational costs while maintaining optimal performance.
- Conduct regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance audits of HVAC equipment to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers to integrate HVAC systems with overall data center infrastructure.
- Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies using IoT and smart monitoring tools.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety protocols, and environmental sustainability goals.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and contractors.
- Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field (Masterâs preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC system design, installation, or maintenance, with at least 2 years in data center environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other HVAC design software.
- Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards, energy efficiency best practices, and sustainability principles.
- Experience with CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis for cooling optimization is a plus.
- Familiarity with IoT-based monitoring systems and predictive maintenance tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin) are advantageous.
