Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, identifying potential issues and implementing proactive solutions.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to diagnose faults and execute repairs efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute facility upgrades and improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory usage, and equipment history.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and operators as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in plant maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work in shift patterns and respond to emergency calls when necessary.
