Responsibility
- Lead the design and development of electrical hardware systems for semiconductor equipment, including power distribution, control circuits, and signal conditioning.
- Create and review schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Collaborate with software and firmware teams to integrate hardware with embedded systems and ensure seamless functionality.
- Conduct thorough testing, validation, and debugging of electrical designs to guarantee performance, reliability, and safety.
- Optimize hardware designs for cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and scalability while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in semiconductor technology, electrical engineering, and industry best practices.
- Document design specifications, test reports, and technical manuals for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical hardware design, with a focus on semiconductor equipment or similar high-precision systems.
- Proven expertise in schematic design, PCB layout (using tools like Altium, Cadence, or OrCAD), and BOM management.
- Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design, power electronics, and signal integrity principles.
- Experience with industry standards (e.g., IPC, UL, CE, RoHS) and compliance testing for semiconductor or industrial equipment.
- Proficiency in using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers) and debugging complex hardware issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
