Responsibility
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Support inventory movement by accurately tracking and recording stock levels and locations.
- Assist in shipping operations, including packing, labeling, and preparing goods for dispatch.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Perform regular inspections of warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure workplace.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse equipment and safety procedures.
