Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational targets and KPIs.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Optimize space utilization and workflow processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Resolve operational issues, address team concerns, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and present performance reports, including productivity metrics and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven ability to manage teams, delegate tasks, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, including OSHA or local equivalents, and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and basic data analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
