Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee the receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Ensure workplace safety and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to optimize delivery schedules.
- Implement process improvements to enhance warehouse productivity and efficiency.
- Train and mentor new team members to uphold high operational standards.
- Resolve any operational issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar leadership role.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance in logistics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics are a plus.
