Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a productive and safety-conscious work environment.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse Supervisor to implement operational strategies and improve efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure accurate record-keeping using warehouse management systems.
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and security protocols to minimize risks and maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Resolve operational challenges and discrepancies in a timely manner to prevent disruptions.
- Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to optimize supply chain processes.
- Prepare and present performance reports to management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead teams and liaise with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and inventory tracking systems.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that may require standing, lifting, or moving for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or management are a plus.
