Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for electronic components, raw materials, and sub-assemblies to meet production demands.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure cost-effective and high-quality supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to mitigate risks and resolve supply chain disruptions.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, materials, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align purchasing strategies with project requirements.
- Prepare and analyze purchase orders, invoices, and expenditure reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and ethical sourcing practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the electronics/EMS industry.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with import/export regulations and logistics is a plus.
