Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high productivity levels.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations to create a secure working environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and minimize operational costs.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., procurement, transportation) to ensure seamless logistics and order fulfillment.
- Prepare and submit reports on warehouse performance, including KPIs, productivity metrics, and incident logs.
- Resolve operational issues and address team concerns promptly to maintain smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven ability to manage teams, delegate tasks, and drive performance in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and other departments.
- Familiarity with safety standards and OSHA regulations to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
- Flexibility to work day or night shifts as required by operational needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
