Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching steel materials.
- Ensure accurate inventory management by conducting regular audits and reconciling discrepancies.
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high productivity levels.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to schedule deliveries and ensure timely distribution of materials.
- Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Prepare and submit reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational metrics.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management, preferably in the steel or hardware industry.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage warehouse operations efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with workplace safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Bachelorâs degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
