Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatch of goods.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of warehouse staff to ensure productivity, safety, and adherence to company policies.
- Implement and maintain efficient warehouse layouts and processes to optimize space utilization and workflow.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure accurate record-keeping using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and distribution teams to coordinate timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards in all warehouse activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives within the warehouse.
- Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, inventory status, and operational metrics to senior management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in warehouse supervision or a similar logistics leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and regulatory standards in warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic data analysis skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
