Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods to ensure on-time and accurate order fulfillment.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes, workflows, and layouts to maximize space utilization and minimize operational costs.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing warehouse team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure accurate stock records to prevent discrepancies and shortages.
- Collaborate with procurement, transportation, and retail teams to align distribution strategies with business demands and seasonal peaks.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards, conducting regular inspections and training sessions.
- Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS) and data analytics to track KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare and manage the distribution center’s budget, optimizing resources while maintaining service quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse or distribution center management, preferably in retail or FMCG sectors.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams of 50+ staff in a high-volume warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP software, and inventory control best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process optimization and cost reduction.
- Familiarity with lean logistics, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional local language skills (e.g., Balinese) are advantageous.
