Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of semiconductor products.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics staff, fostering a culture of efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee compliance with local and international shipping regulations, including customs documentation and export/import laws.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., production, procurement, and warehouse teams) to align shipping schedules with business needs.
- Monitor and optimize shipping costs, routes, and carrier performance to enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for shipping, handling, and inventory management.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or issues proactively to minimize disruptions to the supply chain.
- Prepare and present regular reports on shipping metrics, performance, and areas for improvement to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience in the semiconductor, electronics, or manufacturing industry is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and incoterms.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling, and semiconductor-specific logistics requirements is a plus.
