Responsibility
- Deliver products to assigned outlets in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and receipts.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
- Manage and verify truckload inventory to prevent discrepancies.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately to the supervisor.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods as required.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of inventory management.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
