Responsibility
- Operate and monitor foundry equipment, including furnaces, molding machines, and casting tools, to produce high-quality metal components.
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with industry and company standards.
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet precise aerospace specifications and quality control requirements.
- Prepare and mix metal alloys and other materials according to production formulas and guidelines.
- Perform routine maintenance on foundry machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining efficiency.
- Document production data, including batch numbers, material usage, and quality checks, for traceability and reporting.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing corrective actions under supervision.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in manufacturing, metallurgy, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in foundry operations, metal casting, or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to work in a high-temperature, physically demanding environment.
- Basic knowledge of metal properties, casting techniques, and quality control standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination for precision tasks.
