Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to ensure the timely procurement of materials, products, and services.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and align procurement activities with business needs.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular evaluations, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and compliance with company policies.
- Lead supplier selection processes, including RFQs, RFPs, and supplier audits.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance cost efficiency with operational requirements.
- Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting procurement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics sector.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and cost-saving initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
