Responsibility
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks to ensure data integrity.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
- Prepare and package items for delivery, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse layout to optimize space and facilitate easy access to items.
- Monitor stock levels and generate reports to inform procurement and prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill internal requests and support operational needs.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role within manufacturing, transport, or logistics.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items as needed.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in warehouse operations.
