As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse activities, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and implement best practices to enhance productivity and accuracy. Responsibility
- Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing team.
- Oversee receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse processes.
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to track stock levels, minimize discrepancies, and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to align warehouse operations with business demands.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Optimize space utilization and layout to improve workflow and storage capacity.
- Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics such as order fulfillment rates and inventory accuracy.
- Resolve operational issues promptly and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in warehouse supervision or logistics management, preferably in the retail, beauty, or FMCG industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
