Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Ensure inventory accuracy by conducting regular audits and implementing robust tracking systems.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high productivity.
- Optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency to minimize operational costs and improve turnaround times.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all warehouse activities.
- Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to streamline order fulfillment and reduce delays.
- Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational metrics to management.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies in inventory or shipments promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in warehouse supervision, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide staff.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Knowledge of best practices in warehouse safety, material handling, and storage optimization.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, as required by operational needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
