Responsibility
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, ensuring daily operations meet productivity and quality targets.
- Oversee receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and distribution teams to streamline order fulfillment and reduce lead times.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, turnaround time, and inventory turnover.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Train, mentor, and develop warehouse personnel to enhance team performance and career growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management, preferably in an MNC or large-scale operation.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, including OSHA or equivalent standards.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot operational challenges efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic data analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
